3. Cavities

Cavities, also known as tooth decay, are another common dental problem that affects people of all ages, including infants. This condition is caused by plaque from sugary and starchy foods. Bacteria in the mouth feed on starch and sugar, which deteriorates your enamel. This leads to cavities that may need filling. Symptoms of tooth decay include toothache, tooth stain, sensitivity, and holes in your teeth.

You can control cavities by eating healthy meals and following proper dental hygiene. It will be a good choice to reduce the intake of any sugary drinks and foods.
